Iggy: Iggy Lee is one of the minor characters in Freak the Mighty. The author, Rodman Philbrick, describes Iggy as an enormous, harry and had tattoos all over his arms. In addition, Iggy is rude and abusive. In the novel, the author reveals that Iggy is rude when ""Shut up, Loretta," Iggy says" (Philbrick#67) . This shows that he does not care about what Loretta has do say and he did even know what Loretta had to say. Furthermore, the author shows that Iggy is abusive when "Iggy reaches out and he flicks his fingers at Freak's nose, whack (Philbrick#67). This is because that he is not respectful to those he does not know well and he hurt Freak just because he did not answer his question correctly. Based on the character's behavior and dialogue in this novel, you can clearly see that Iggy is rude and abusive.

Loretta: Loretta Lee is one of the minor characters in Freak the Mighty. The author, Rodman Philbrick, describes Loretta as a scrawny, yellow-haired women. In addition, Loretta is mean and brave. In the novel, the author reveals that Loretta is mean when "Hey midget man? I know all about you. Your old man was a magician, did you know that?..."Yeah," Loretta says "Right after you was born. He must be a magician, because as soon as he heard the magic words birth defect,' he disappeared" (Philbrick#71). This shows that she is mean because she insults Freak and the condition he is in. Furthermore, the author shows that Loretta is brave when "You can tell by her shaky, thin voice she's scared of the dark"(Philbrick#125). This is because she faces her fear and knowing that Killer Kane is still around she tries to untie Max. Based on the character's behavior and dialogue in this novel, you can clearly see that Loretta is mean and brave.
